Jovie of North Texas is seeking an energetic, entrepreneurial spirited, self-motivated individual to fulfill the role of Business Development Manager. This is a part time position, about 20 hours a week.

Our family- and child-focused staffing business requires a Business Development Manager with strong interpersonal and communication skills, excellent organization and multitasking abilities and a focus on achieving results.  B2B sales, marketing and strategic analysis are important aspects of this role, along with exceptional negotiation skills and ability to close deals.

As the ideal candidate for this part-time Business Development Manager position, you excel at identifying prospective customers, developing relationships within the community, closing new business and fostering continuous customer care.  You will serve as our first contact with potential customers, interact with them to identify their needs, and demonstrate how our business meets their goals.

Qualifications:

  • College degree (business, communications or related field of study)
  • Minimum 2 years B2B development/sales experience
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly self-motivated, intellectually curious, enthusiastic positive attitude
  • Sales experience with desire to succeed
  • Ability to understand contract terms and communicate that information to customers in an accurate, clear and concise manner.
  • Understanding of how to manage social media for results

Technical aptitude to navigate and utilize our proprietary technical tool to:

  • Record customer leads and interactions
  • Establish customer profiles
  • Customize and facilitate contract approvals
  • Record customer care communications and interactions

Reliable transportation and ability to work independently is a must

Experience with Chamber of Commerce a plus
